2011

Heard there are major changes to the time table as of this year... And I say this because holy moly it is past midnight and the new year is here!

Hope 2011 will be a better, more productive, fulfilling year.. I pray I will have the discipline and determination to study hard for the impending O levels. No more last minute studying, no more studying only for subjects I have interest in, no more wasting days away... Carpe Diem!

I don't really come up with resolutions for the new year but I do have some in mind, lets just hope I succeed :)
Well this year has not been very eventful but time really rushed by quickly I barely had time to stop, reflect and think. I certainly felt very different from 2009 I think a lot has changed in me and how I react to situations, I think people around me also changed quite a bit. I did a lot of firsts the previous year (I can scarcely believe 2010 is the previous year), made decisions, good ones and bad ones, caught the hallyu wave, ditched the good ol' bangs, got rid of the metal mouth piece, went around the taiwan island, sat on the freakiest rides, coloured my hair got my nails done, gained a whooping 7kg, ran the most I have ever ran in a year, read the least number of books in a year, started listening to a chinese radio station, prefered oldies to new age songs, went to the night safari, skipped school to watch a korean drama, got my eyebrows plucked with Shantelle, went on my first overseas school trip, won in a cheat game, figured out the secret behind "black magic", had an enriching camp experience... I hope this year (still weird calling it that!) will be filled with many firsts too! :)

Happy new year anyway hope you spent new year's eve well unlike me! Most boring nye ever for me but I am looking forward to meeting the Chicks tomorrow for luncheon and a day out! It has probably been moons since all went out together I really miss them!

I had soooo many durians today I smell like durians... Which is not a very good thing so bye and have a fantastic year ahead :-) Cheers!

So! I'm back from YF camp and this year's was pretty much enjoyable just like every other year's :) Was assigned to Hannah and whooosh it was cool especially seeing quiet people slowly opening up... It was like magic haha!

We were first for amazing race @ sentosa anyway quite amazing!! Considering that we were lazy and all not bothering to run from one station to another and even going to the pit stop right at the beginning... But that probably helped us win! Rolling and doing the leopard crawl in wet sand was quite painful but it was fun :)

This year's camp's shorter than any other by a day so just as we were getting to know each other the camp ended :( Well I certainly did learn A LOT and realised things I never ever knew so it was quite an eye-opener for me... Definitely will try apply the things I've learnt so many things spoke to me and they were all really apt so yup!

Came home to a spankin' clean room thanks to my maid and mom :) They spent 2 days clearing my hugeee mess up and everything is quite organized and all I hope I don't ruin it all like I always do... But it has its drawbacks I guess! Am no longer able to find my things easily anymore because I don't know where they are placed... Can't even find my whole bag of x'mas cards am heart-brokened but I shall find it soon ^_^

School's going to start in a few days and oh boy I am dreading it soooo much yet I look forward to seeing certain familiar faces! :)

XMAS

So Christmas came pretty quick this year, every year seems quicker than the previous doesn't it?!
Sang for the Christmas Concert and it was pretty fun I think although I missed so many practices had to mumble my way through some of the songs...
Carolling after that at 3 houses! Much fewer than last year ha ha food at every house was soooo good I love bee hoon! Had like 10 plates that night/morning and I'm not even kidding!
Sleepover at Sam's was fun spent some time spazzing with Darius and Tanya over k-pop and I'm so proud of T!! First time not being the first to K.O. he he he and I luv her cutesy hair really suits you T! :) Played Taboo and what not and tried watching House Bunny but we failed so August Rush instead! Everybody feel asleep one by one it was quite funny ha ha sleep for about an hour during the movie I think and by the time we knew it it was morning :( Head the poor doggy whining and Jireh and I went to look for it... It was soooo cute I died on the spot really! So fragile SO CUTE :)
Watched The Lake House because Aaron loves it and fell asleep for about another hour ha ha quite funny! I must say I probably am the worst friend EVER thanks for the cards and presents guys I loved them all! So thoughtful :') And the idiot me did not give anyone a present or even a card am soooo sorry! All the chicks gave really sweet presents heh u guys are amazing, love u! :) Haven't seen some of them for ages so really glad for the fun we had during the eve and Christmas day itself! Miss meeting up during the holidays we didn't even go out once this time it's crazy!

Went out straight to vivo after that for some last minute Christmas shopping at vivo! Mom went mad and bought 12 starbucks tumblers for gifts and for ourselves hwa hwa hwa! Went over to cuz's house for the annual Christmas dinner with all the relatives mmmm I love turkey :) Played poker and charades (which went really wild and crazy have never laughed so much!) till it was present time (MY FAV AND EVERYONE'S) :) Received KEWL presents most of them really useful and what I've been wanting tq tq TQQQQ~ Hope you guys liked the presents! :)

Off to watch bof AGAIN because mom hasn't finished it and wants to watch it naow! CIAOOO:)

YF Camp from tomorrow till thurs anyway see u guys then!

Off to Malacca/KL till sunday! Gonna bring bof over to watch on the laptop I really hope that there's internet connection over there haha! :-)

Taiwan was amazing... From the scenery to the accommodations (we stayed at very different places... from classy hotels with 2 tvs to home stays with no tv, no phone) to the FOOD!!!! to the shopping. It was very enriching! The shopping streets were amazing but I didn't shop much because most of the time I wasn't in the mood (pity I know) and most of the clothes are thick and for winter anyway... Here's some photos! Dad spoiled the lens and the only one we had left was the portrait one so used the digital thank goodness I brought it but I haven't uploaded those yet... Most of these are from the first few days yup!
